Back to school in level 2!😃

 

Kia Ora! It's level 2 and I'm back at school. We have been back for 7 days now. It feels cool. I am happy to be back because and can play with all my friends. Lockdown was boring because I didn't get to run around and play as much as at school! Comment how your lockdown was! I hope you enjoyed my post!🙂

I want a dog as a pet. (poem)

 I want a dog as a pet, 

It has golden curly fur,

It is a Golden retriever mixed with a poodle,

They call it a Goldendoodle.

I want to call it noodle,

Because of its curly fur,

It reminds me of a lunch,

Which I like to have,

It reminds me of nice yummy noodles.

Choc chip muffins!

 Me and my mum were making some yummy choc chip muffins at 7:00 PM and it was really fun. We made them because we thought since we are in level 4 lock down we could do some baking. Here is a picture of a muffin that we made.

My cool Japan report

 Hello I am stephen and this is my Japan report

Japan is an amazing  place. There are many different things in Japan. It is found in east Asia in the pacific ocean and Japan sea. The next Olympic games are going to be in Tokyo, Japan. It was found in 660 BC. Emperor Jimmu found it. 

There are many different dog breeds in Japan and my favourite is the Japanese Spitz and I once got to look after one for a day! It is my favourite japanese dog because it's very fluffy, it doesn't bark a lot and they love to play! I really want to get one. 

Dog breeders in Japan in the 1920s and 1930s created the Japanese Spitz by crossing different kids of Spitz breeds to create the Japanese Spitz. The dog breeders began with white German Spitz dogs. They were first put in a dog show in Tokyo in 1921 - Wikipedia 

In japan, there are a lot of earthquakes so all the buildings are designed to bend, not break or snap. Some japanese, korean and chinese buildings look very similar. The chinese buildings are more red though.

Tokyo is Japan’s capital city. It is the world’s largest area, with 32.5 million people. Even though it has an area A little bigger than Germany and smaller than California, Japan is the world’s tenth largest country by population, with 127.3 million people. -Global Sherpa

There are very fast trains that go past Tokyo called bullet trains! They are very fast trains but probably not near the fastest in the world. Also, Tokyo looks very nice at night. Here is a picture of what it looks like at night!

In conclusion, I think Japan is a very beautiful place to go! It has lots of people and it seems like a great place to go on holiday! I wonder how fast the bullet trains are! If I ever go to japan I will definitely go on one! I hope you enjoyed my Japan report!        By Stephen

The amazing Skipping!

Konnichiwa. I like to do skipping a lot! Its my second favorite sport after swimming!

Skipping is cool and I can do a double under. A double under is where you jump and have the rope go twice under you. There is two ways to do a double under. Jump once or start  doing single jumps and do it when you want. Its hard to do a double under and even harder to do a double under criss cross.

Another skipping trick is called criss cross. The criss cross is where you do normal skipping and while you are, cross your arms making a cross shape and make it go under you while your arms are crossed and then separate your arms and do one last skip and then you have done a criss cross! 😄😀😃

Another trick is the backwards criss cross. This is easier to enplane. Skip backwards and do a criss cross.

My first 2021 blog post

 Kia ora! Welcome to my blog. I am year 5 in room 17. I enjoy fitness and swimming in a pool. 

So far this year we have done a lot of fun things like skipping with very cool skipping ropes.
